1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email, password (stored hashed), and company profile details such as business name, address, license number, and logo.
• Business data you enter — leads, customers, jobs, estimates, contracts, invoices, receipts, photos, crew and payroll records, and similar content you add to run your business.
• Payment information — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We receive limited billing details and subscription status, but we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser/device information, and feature usage, used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• Location data — if you or your crew enable it, approximate location captured during clock-in/out for time and routing features.

2. How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• Process subscriptions, payments, and add-ons;
• Send transactional messages, receipts, reminders, and service notices;
• Provide support and respond to your requests;
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. AI processing

When you use AI features, the relevant input (such as a job description, receipt image, or your business figures) is sent to our AI model providers to generate output. We use these providers to deliver the feature and do not sell your data. AI output is informational only and may be inaccurate — see our Terms of Service for details. Do not submit information through AI features that you are not permitted to share.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• With service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting, payment processing, email/SMS delivery, and AI providers), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
• At your direction — for example, when you send an invoice, contract, or document link to your own customers;
• To comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights, safety, and security; and
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account and data as described below; some records may be retained where required by law.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your information in the app, and you can contact us to exercise these rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in, keep your session secure, and remember preferences. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling them may affect how the Service works.

9. Children

The Service is for business use and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
